Are there many PE people actively exploring assessment ideas for elementary age kids?

Is this going to be worth the time and effort?

How much of a paradigm shift can be expected? What is the time frame for change?

Why are my colleagues so resistant to the assessment discussion?

Who is out there that can help us? Professionals? Resources?
